Mouse Mats

I don’t suppose it has escaped many people’s notice that today is St Valentine’s Day. Apparently, according to the Catholic Encyclopaedia, there were at least 3 different St Valentines, all martyrs. Another source informs us that in England and France the customs associated with St Valentine’s Day began in the Middle Ages whilst others would have us believe that it was during the Roman Empire that these rituals began. An article posted in today’s edition of ‘The Scotsman’ tells us that St Valentine’s remains are located in Glasgow and this city was in 1999 designated the ‘City of Love’. As usual myth and that good old custom of never letting the truth get in the way of a good story have become inextricably interwoven thus providing the purveyors of all things romantic, as well as bad taste, with an excuse to sell more ‘stuff’.

How does this relate to printed mousemats?
